Gouache Pet portraits
I have been painting watercolour pet portraits for years. This is the first time I am offering custom pet portraits in a different medium.
Gouache is watercolour’s opaque sister. It dries matte and looks very soft to the touch.
All of the gouache used in your painting will be lightfast, the painting will not fade over time. All of the paintings will be painted on premium 100% cotton Arches paper.
You can chose between a simple pet portrait with your pet painted in gouache with the the simple textured paper as a background. You can also choose a solid colour or a fun pattern or landscape background.
Using your favorite photos as a reference, from the silliest to the most photogenic, I do a few outlines so you get a good idea of what the painting will look like, you pick the one that captures your pets personality best and we go from there.
Once you place your order you will be prompted to send an email with your photos. You can send one, or I’ve had clients send entire folders.
